Natural History Museum
During Homeschool Days, homeschoolers and their families receive free Museum admission and special Homeschool Day programming! They offer these dates twice yearly at the Natural History Museum, each with a different theme. Advanced registration is not required to participate in Homeschool Day.
County residents receive free Museum admission 3–5 pm Monday–Friday
The Museum also offers daily free admission to individuals who are CA EBT cardholders, C.A. teachers with I.D., or active/retired military, as well as children between 2 and under.

North Carolina Aquarium
When you register as a North Carolina homeschooler, you will get one free general admission visit per school year. Homeschool families can only receive free admission during the week (Monday-Friday) during the traditional school year (September 1 to June 15). This visit includes school-age children in grades K-12 or ages five through 18. Children aged two and under are admitted free of charge. Proof of homeschool status must be presented upon check-in with Visitor Services to receive the free visit.
Proof may include but is not limited to state-issued homeschool documentation showing your I.D. number, a school I.D. card, an official email, an online verification sheet, a school curriculum, or an enrollment form into a homeschool group.
Two teachers or administrators get free admission during this yearly visit.
In addition to the one free visit, the Aquarium holds a special Homeschool Day event. All children in the immediate homeschooled family can attend during this event. Every year “Six Flag Theme Parks” offers an exciting opportunity for your children to earn a free theme park pass for reading.
Go to “Six Flags Read to Succeed” and Create a new account for your family. Choose the homeschool option and tell them how many children you homeschool, which grades, etc.
You’ll find several Six Flag locations across the country when you register. Your homeschool children will receive a free theme park pass, and one homeschool teacher will also receive a free pass! Ambleside Online is one of the best free homeschooling programs using the Charlotte Mason method. This method of homeschooling focuses on developing a child’s character through nature studies, engaging literature, and creative arts. Charlotte Mason believed children should learn by direct contact with their environment instead of from textbooks or lecturers.
Ambleside Online provides parents a free homeschool curriculum for their children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Dali museum
The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg offers free admission for homeschoolers twice a year between September and May. You must make reservations at least one week in advance as space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Admission fees are waived for students aged 18 and under in a registered homeschool program. Admission fees are waived for one adult per family (additional adults are $23 each).
